Dr Claire Iseli is an otologist/neurotologist who did her core ENT training in Victoria then went on to complete a two-year Otology/Neurotology Fellowship with focus on skull-base tumors, general otology and cochlear implants in adults and children at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in United States. Along with her private practice, she now works at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in the Cochlear Implant and General Otology Units, at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as part of Skull-Base Neurotology service and as a Pediatric Otologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. She has a Masters of Surgery in Meniere’s disease but has also been involved in extensive research on cochlear implants and tumors of the brainstem, with over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is also a Senior Fellow at Melbourne University, giving lectures to medical students and helping to oversee the audiology service.
